Shea Labagh Dobberstein is a voluntary member of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, which was established to promote the quality of employee benefit plan audits. We are comprised of a team of professionals with extensive experience providing benefit plan audits. Lisa Wrench is the Director of our Employee Benefits Assurance Practice. Lisa has over 12 years’ experience with a Big 4 firm, most recently as Senior Manager specializing in employee benefit plan audits.
In her impressive career, Lisa has managed over 150 audits of small, medium and large employee benefit plans. She has experience in internal control and compliance reviews, has developed and delivered training programs for employee benefit plan audits, and has served as a respected audit resource for various employee benefit plan audits across the country.
With an understanding of applicable laws and regulations, we take a proactive approach to directly helping avoid ERISA and/or Department of Labor violations. In addition, our expertise enables us to complete audits with minimal disruption, reducing your administrative time spent gathering data and answering questions.

Generally, for companies with employee benefit plans of 100 or more eligible participants, Federal law requires an annual audit. A quality audit helps protect the assets and financial integrity of your employee benefit plan.
